I downloaded an e-book but we realized that we need to use the asuser login to do this in the Reader's Services work room.

Google Tools

I looked at Book Search(good for full text), Scholar (where was this when I desperately needed it in grad school!) and Translate.

Wikis

I think I enjoyed this the most so far. I enjoyed reading other peoples comments on books, movies, etc. and it was quite easy to add my own comments. I enjoy using Wikipedia. It contains very concise, useful information on many topics.

Podcasting

I took a look at the podcast directories and added two podcasts from Learn Out Loud to my Reader. One was the New York Times Book Review Podcast. The other was KCRW's Bookworm Podcast. Both contain book reviews with some containing interviews with the author. Very interesting!

Flickr

I seem to be gracing the pages of Mary's blog with numerous copies of my photo and was not able to get my photo onto my own blog page. Many problems with this one!

Social Bookmarking

This looks like it might be useful. I"ll have to think about what tags would be most helpful for the library.
